Mrs. Rose F. Blaska

  Mrs. Rose F. Blaska, Rt. 2, Marshall, died at her home Sunday, April 30, 1978.  She was 93.
   Mrs. Blaska was born in the Town of Medina March 4, 1885 to Anton and Theresa Schuster.  May 11, 1909, she married John M. Blaska who preceded her in death in May of 1957.  They farmed in the Town of Sun Prairie where she continued to make her home.
 

     She is survived by nine children; Mrs. Evelyn Owens, Sun Prairie and Mrs. Lila LaBarro, Sun Prairie; Cyril J. Blaska, Oconomowoc; Burdette Blaska, Vero Beach, Fla.; Jerome Blaska, Rt. 2, Sun Prairie; Juanita Blaska, Rt. 2, Marshall; John Blaska, Rt. 1, Watertown; Gregory Blaska, Rt. 2, Marshall; and Mrs. Franklin Wood (Elaine), McFarland.   
    Also surviving are her sisters, Mrs. Eda Hebl, Marshall; Mrs. Josephine Pirkl, Pine City, Minn.; Sister Mary Magdala Schuster, Elm Grove; Sister Mary Magna Schuster, Superior; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
    Mrs. Blaska was a member of Sacred Hearts Church and its St. Ann's Society, the Twentieth Century Club, the Colonial Club, the Island Church Foundation, Inc., of Waterloo, the Sun Prairie Historical Society, the Eastern Dane local of the Farmers Union and the Farm Bureau Council No. 2,
    The funeral was held Tuesday at Tuschens Funeral Home and at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
