William L. Ostrowsky, Jr.
August 8, 1934 - April 5, 2010

William L. Ostrowsky Jr. went for his last ride in the sky on April 5,
2010 from home. Bill was born August 8, 1934 in Fostoria, Ohio, the only
child of William L. and Laura (Blaska) Ostrowsky, Sr. |
He married Roberta Ripp in 1952. Bill and Bobbi had three sons, Gregory
(Mary), Steve (Roxanne), and Clay. They divorced in 1972.
After owning his own business and then working for MG&E, Bill enjoyed a
28 year career with the State Patrol as a PCO, and with Motor Vehicle as
a supervisor, as License Plate Production Liaison to Waupun Correctional
Institution and as a Driver License Examiner. Bill met Eileen Hehling
Smith when they were both employed by DMV; after 9 years of “trying to
decide,” they married in 1986. Bill retired from DMV in 1999. Bill was a
dedicated life-time member of the North Bristol Sportsmen’s Club,
serving as treasurer for many years. |
In addition to Eileen, his sons and daughters-in-law, he is survived by
step-daughter Gina Smith Kronebusch, who referred to him as Dad2 (to the
second power!) and her children Andrew and Elisabeth. He is also
survived by his mother-in-law, Bertha Hehling and close cousins Barbara
and Joe Polak, of Merrill. He is further survived by grandchildren and
great-grandchildren Nathan (Rachel) and Brendan, Amber (James) Miller,
James Jr., Bailey and Ella, Carleen (Tom) Gourley and Jace, Jessi
(Vernon) Williams, Tyreece, Jalen and Desmond, Melissa (Mark) Bohn,
Erich and NextBaby Bohn, Avery, Aaron, Lana Johnson and Lilly, Bobbie Jo
(Bobby) Brock, Mason, and Morgan.
At Bill’s request, no services will be held. The family suggests
